County offices close for Thanksgiving holiday, delays to solid waste collection
All Gwinnett County government offices, except for those operations required for the comfort and safety of residents, will be closed November 25 and November 26 for the Thanksgiving holiday. County offices will resume normal business hours November 29. A Magistrate Court judge will be available at the Gwinnett County Detention Center during the holiday.
Thursday, November 25 is a trash and recycling holiday for residents living in unincorporated Gwinnett County. Collection scheduled on that day will be rescheduled to Friday, November 26 and Friday collection will be rescheduled to Saturday, November 27. Only Thursday and Friday collections will be affected.
Residents can visit GCSolidWaste.com to find their hauler’s contact information. Residents who live within city limits should contact their trash and recycling provider to find out if collection will be delayed due to the holiday.
