Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office hosting Virtual Career Expo on August 29
The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office is hosting its first Virtual Career Expo on Saturday, August 29 from 10:00am to 3:00pm for potential job candidates to tour the jail and meet with recruiters online.
Those interested in a career with the Sheriff’s Office should prepare a resume and fill out an application at GwinnettSheriffJobs.com to preregister ahead of time. Preregistered candidates can participate in virtual facility tours, hiring orientations, and interview with recruiters through video messaging on Instagram at @GCSORecruiter.
Applicants should treat the event like an in-person job opportunity and should dress professionally and strive to create a distraction-free environment for the interview.
The department is seeking to hire deputies to work in the Gwinnett County Jail, at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, or in other law enforcement capacities. The Sheriff’s Office offers medical benefits, a retirement plan, paid holidays, sick leave, free employee meals, tuition reimbursement, insurance, and an employee assistance program. Salaries start from $36,101 to about $65,864, depending on training and experience.
