Gwinnett Sheriff’s Office Conducting Active Shooter Training Exercise

The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office Court of Operations Division will conduct a live, multi-agency active shooter training exercise Saturday, December 3, 2022.

The training will be held from 8:00am to 9:30am at the Gwinnett Justice and Administrative Center, located at 75 Langley Drive. During the training exercise, businesses nearby may experience loud sirens, temporary road delays, and live emergency vehicle responses along Constitution Boulevard, Nash Street, and Langley Drive.

The purpose of the active shooter training is to continue the readiness response to a threat of an active shooter at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center.

Minimal traffic delays are expected in the area and traffic laws will still apply while training is underway. Drivers must yield the right of way to all emergency vehicles and reduce speed upon approaching any emergency vehicle that has activated its emergency lights and sirens.

The active shooter training exercise will not hinder your ability to call 911 for any emergency services.
